* Butt Augmentation in the 21st Century - Restoring a Youthful Look
As we age, one of the first parts of the body that "goes" happens to be the butt ... the rear end. A number of "things" can happen to the buttocks, and none of them are particularly attractive. Understanding this fact, more and more cosmetic surgeons have become adept at offering to their patients butt augmentation. Through this article, you will be provided a point by point analysis to assist you in making the decision about whether or not butt augmentation surgery is the right choice for you.
Butt augmentation can assist in restoring a more youthful appearance to your rear end. If you are like many people today, you feel great and you want your body to look exactly like you feel. Therefore, butt augmentation can be an appropriate choice in such circumstances.
While there are some differences, the typical butt augmentation is rather like that associated with breasts. In other words, in most instances, silicon implants are placed into the buttocks to restore a more youthful and vital appearance of the posterior.
* Butt Augmentation Surgery May Be Right For You
Butt augmentation (or butt implants) is a general term that describes surgery to enhance the appearance of one's butt. Whether the desired effect is firmness, changed shape, or changed size, butt augmentation surgery can accomplish this. The surgery is generally simple, fast, and uncomplicated. Most plastic surgery practices will do it. It is unlikely to be covered by standard insurance unless it is being done to correct a defect or injury, but even then you should consult with your insurance provider first.
There are two types of buttock augmentation:
1. Implant surgery where an actual synthetic implant is added that changes the appearance of the area
And
2. Injections of substances that also change the fullness or shape. Substances injected include silicone.
* Create a Beautiful Backside with Butt Implants
When women have their breasts augmented, they often don't even think about the overall look and balance of their body-from front to back. They may have the curves of the breasts and legs, but then suddenly realize they do not feel well balanced. There's good news: a flat or undeveloped behind can be enhanced, creating the look of a much fuller, rounded bottom with butt implants.
The number of buttock augmentation surgeries has increased to 158% in the past three years-women want to match their bigger, boosted breasts with a just as beautiful backside, says the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Butt implant surgery is not for those who are sensitive to pain, or inclined to faint at the sight of blood. Let's put it this way: your buttocks are one of the most utilized parts of your body, and due to that, any surgery in that area will cause a greater amount of pain and discomfort. It's been said that your bottom is the largest muscle components of the body. And, quite frankly, it is possibly the most painful part of the body to have surgery on.
What Really Happens When You Have Butt Implant Surgery?
* Fat Injections For Buttock Enhancement
Enhancement of the buttocks is most consistently done with a gluteal implant. Despite its predictable improvement in the size and shape of the buttocks, buttock implants are not without complications. Intramuscular implant placement makes recovery more uncomfortable and having to sit on the implant predisposes it to positional shifting and the formation of fluid collections and possible infection.
Because of these concerns, the alternative treatment of fat injections or free fat grafting has emerged. Fat grafting to the buttocks has numerous potential advantages such as the elimination of the need for a synthetic implant, the use of a patient's own body tissues, an easier recovery with few limitations, a simultaneous benefit of cosmetic enhancement of the donor site, and a very low risk of bleeding or infection. All of these advantages of free fat fat grafting is counterbalanced by one significant disadvantage....an unpredictability of after surgery shape and size. How much fat survives and is retained is widely variable. No plastic surgeon can guarantee or predict with 100% accuracy how much fat will survive on a consistent basis. I prefer to inject no more than about 300cc per buttock as I think much volume than that results in greater volume loss.

As we age, gravity takes its toll on our physical selves, wreaking havoc on everything from our foreheads to our knees, sending skin south. However, modern science has come to the rescue and the butt lift procedure is readily available for men and women with sagging buttocks.
First of all, keep in mind what a butt lift procedure is not. It is not a way to eliminate fat. For that, you will need a weight loss program or liposuction. It is not a cure-all. You will look better after the surgery, but it is important to be realistic about your expectations.
What's Your Type?
A butt lift procedure can be done in several ways. If all you want to do is to eliminate sagging skin, you may opt for "butt wedge," in which a wedge of tissue is removed from underneath at the buttock crease and the skin pulled tight before suturing.
* Plastic Surgery - The Final Step After Extreme Weight Loss
Plastic Surgery after Extreme Weight Loss - Get Your Body Back Into Shape
It's wonderful to lose all those pounds and even more wonderful to have the body you've always wanted! What a relief to lose all those pounds! There are lots of great ways to lose serious pounds, and they leave you feeling like a new 'You'. "Extreme Weight Loss" means losing 100 or more pounds at once. Another word for it is "Freedom!" At the end of each extreme fat loss plan is the final step - Plastic surgery to take care of those leftover trouble spots.
Those leftover spots can be much bigger than you imagine. After extreme weight reduction, you are left with extra skin and fatty tissue hanging around lots of places where you don't want it. The worst areas for leftover tissue are the abdomen (the body's number 1 trouble spot for ANYTHING!), neck, thighs and butt. Plastic surgery targets these areas.
Lift It Up
You have heard of a face lift. How about body lift? It's not as dramatic as it sounds. The body lift works mostly on the abdomen, thigh and behind, but can also remove any excess skin or fat that is hanging around on your body.
The body lift removes excess tissue and also gives the tissue that remains a boost. This makes the shape of the overall body look natural after extreme weight loss. The goal is to get it just the right, so you can't tell there was ever any excess fat at all.
